Wellness requires effort on your part.  New clients often state, "No therapist before has ever asked me what my goals are for therapy!" or "I'm not used to being asked to work so much in therapy."  Lisa: "I'm clear, concise, and communicative in the therapy process.  However, don't interpret that to mean I give you advice.  YOU are your own best counsel.  I rarely give advice.  I am adept at pulling out your innate wisdom to find solutions that work for you.  I am also adept at teaching you skills if you don't have them, which is different than advice!"
